Bassingbourn Village College SSCo: Matt Budd
Matt is in his third year with the Partnership, having previously been Head of PE in a school in Hertfordshire.  He has spent the first couple of years focussing most of his work on supporting his feeder primary schools with delivering High Quality PE and increasing the number of extracurricular clubs. His challenges this year are to develop and improve school club links and get more pupils doing out of hours sport, particularly from his secondary school.

The Granta Special School SSCo: Julie Lloyd
Julie joined the Partnership in September 2006 as the SSCo for the newly built  Granta Special School which is based on the same site as Linton VC. Julie has already had a significant impact on PE and Sport at the school, establishing a healthy PE curriculum and incraesing the number of pupils taking part in OSH clubs and inter school competitions.

Linton Village College SSCo: Lewis Baillie
Lewis joined the Partnership in 2006 and in his first year had the big task of bringing on board two new families of schools; Linton and Cottenham. This year he has a full time position at Linton VC where he teaches 3 days a week whilst fulfilling his SSCo responsibilities for the other 2 days. An extremely enthusiastic SSCo Lewis has already started a golf extreme club at the secondary school and introduced orienteering and the Sports Leaders Level 1 course into the curriculum!

Impington Village College SSCo: Emma Rowell
Emma recently joined the Partnership in Sep 2007 having taught full-time at IVC for the previous 3 years. One of Emma's areas of strength is teaching swimming. She has already set up a before school swimming club at IVC and also introduced synchronised swimming into the key stage 4 curriculum. Emma is extremely keen and motivated to drive her family of schools forward with the new KS3 curriculum and the 2010 ambition of 5 hours a week of PE and Sport for ALL children!

Melbourn Village College SSCo: Fiona Humphrey
Fiona joined the Partnership in 2004 and has established a solid working relationship with the local primary schools in her area. Having worked with their teachers for the last 3 years, she is now concentrating on improving school club links with Melbourn Village College, and encouraging students from the college to participate in more physical activity outside of school. The Junior Sports Leadership programme at the secondary school has improved over the last few years, with more and more students now acting as good role models for younger children. This will hopefully encourage others to want to take part in more sports or to act as volunteers as we look to the rapidly approaching 2012 Olympics.

Gamlingay Village College SSCo: Sue Phillips
Gamlingay joined the Partnership in September 2006. They are a small middle school on the Cambridgeshire-Bedfordshire border with one feeder School, Gamlingay First School. Sue is the SSCo and the only PE teacher in the school and works on a part-time basis. There is plenty of enthusiasm in the school for sporting activities though and the support and encouragement from the SSP is a "breath of fresh air". Sue has already done lots of great work in developing PE and Sport at both the middle and first school. Of particular note is her work in training and deploying Year 4 and Year 8 young leaders to support with break and lunchtime activities at the first school.

Community Athletics Coach: Femi Akinsanya
Femi, currently the World Masters (35-40 years) indoor triple jump champion and Commonwealth Games finalist in 1998 is the Partnership's full-time athletics coach. Femi really enjoys the opportunity to pass on his love of athletics to youngsters in South Cambridgeshire whilst supporting teachers with their subject knowledge and setting up after school athletics clubs.

Cottenham Village College SSCo: Sam Meeds
Sam recently joined the team in September 2007, taking on the role of SSCo for the Cottenham Family. She has been Head of Faculty at Cottenham Village College for 5 years and is using the SSCo role to further develop P.E across the Secondary School and its feeder Primaries. The Cottenham Family is very lucky to have such an experienced and knowledgeable SSCo.

Swavesey Village College SSCo: Richard Allen
Richard is now the Partneships longest serving SSCo and has been at Swavesey since September 2004. He has spent a lot of time supporting and developing PE currciulums in his link primary schools and now has 7 primary schools where PE and School Sport has a very high profile. More recently he has begun to develop community club links with particular emphasis on his own schoo, Swavesey Village College.

Community Hockey Coach: Phill Yetzes
Phill joined us in September 2007 having previously taught modern foreign languages for a year. Phill has quickly settled into his role and has already established a number of Kwik Stix Clubs across the Partnership and trained up 14 Young Hockey Leaders to help him run the clubs.

Comberton Village College: Ally Brennan
Ally has worked at Comberton VC for 6 years but this year is working more closely with the Partnership team; providing specialist curriculum support to primary schools and developing a Healthy Lifestyles project for teenagers.

Partnership Development Manager: Claire McDonnell
Appointed in April 2007, Claire made a short move across the district from the Cambridge School Sports Partnership where she worked for over 3 years as SSCo and Assistant PDM. She is based at Comberton Village College and will be overseeing the work of the Partnerships 9 Schools Sports Coordinators and 45 Primary Link Teachers as well as developing links with key partners in sport and the wider community.

Partnership Admin: Iluska Tombs
Iluska joined us in September 2007. She is originally from South Africa but moved to England 10 years ago. She is no stranger to sport, having been a competitive show jumper before her son aged six and two were born. She hankers to return to that , but is content with a sports related career move, having previously worked for a Telecoms company and in her husband's photography studio.
