* to identify educationally sound principles to plan a PE
curriculum/ OSHL programme/ to evaluate the appropriateness
of their own curriculum/OSHL provision
* to identify the essential components of long/medium/short term
curriculum planning in PE
* to evaluate your own PE SoW & identify strategies to improve
them
* to review current assessment practice & how it is planned for

Course Aims: Aims:
* to review their schools progress towards all lessons in all
years meeting the high quality outcomes all of the time
* to examine their role of leadership to secure high quality
teaching and improved standards of learning
* to examine how effectively PE is monitored and improved
through quality assurance and self-assessment
* to recognise what high quality learning in PE lessons looks like
* to review how to complete and use records of evidence
* to examine techniques for effective feedback

to help their pupil make better progress and achieve more in
gymnastic activities
