Young Ambassador Assemblies and NSSW 2010

Toby Barker and George Kohler - Impington Village College’s Young Ambassadors have given assemblies to 5 primary schools in the Impington area. They talked to the children about National School Sports Week (NSSW) and what they can pledge to try and work on during the week beginning 28 June. They also explained how this is linked to the 2012 London Olympics and the Olympic values – Friendship, Inspiration, Excellence, Respect, Determination, Equality and Courage. The last assembly was at Milton Primary School on Monday 29 June at the start of National School Sports Week where they were joined by IVC’s sixth form dancers who performed a piece from ‘Footlose’.
