Item: Changes to PE and Sport Survey 2009-2010

Posted by: Claire McDonnell
Dated: Fri 29th January 2010 11.30AM

We have recently been informed by DfCSF of changes to the data collection process for the annual PE and Sport Survey. In summary these are as follows:

1.       Gender -all questions will now ask for a separate response for girls and boys with the exception of questions 9 & 10.

2.       Deadline –the deadline for online completion has been brought forward a month to June 2010, with distribution of the surveys to schools in April.

The data collection tool has recently been updated to capture and report the information needed on boys and girls and Version 2 discs should now have been distributed to all schools. If you need any support with getting this system set up in your school please contact sspadmin@comberton.cambs.sch.uk A copy of the full letter from DfCSF can be downloaded here.
