The South Cambs SSP is ready to launch it's second Virtual Athletics League. The league is a great way for your school to compete in a partnership wide Sportshall Athletics competition, without needing to leave your own school site.

Targeting the Agility Challenge, Sportshall Athletics competitions are easy to set up in a school hall and a fun way to get children involved in Athletics. The Agility Challenge is an inclusive activity, which will encourage whole class and whole year group participation. It consists of five events, which test participants; speed, balance, agility and co-ordination. Competitions are easy to set up and can be delivered as part of a PE lesson or lunch-time/after-school club.

To encourage more intra-school and inter-school competitions, the Partnership have introduced a Virtual League for Virtual Athletics. The Virtual Athletics competition allows you to compete in a partnership wide competition without having to leave your own school site!! The results will be able to act as an intra-school competition, allowing competitive opportunities between pupils from within your own school, and an inter-school competition allowing your school to see how your pupils compete against other local schools.  For more information on the virtual league, please click here.

To enter the Virtual League, all you have to do is complete the registration form and return it to James Cook: jec@hinchbk.cambs.sch.uk
