Year 1 Multi skills Festival

 

Year 1 children attended Impington Village College on 9 June to take part in their annual Multi skills festival. Around 200 children participated in activities on the field including target throws, relays, ball games and dance mats. The children worked in school-based groups and were encouraged to focus on doing their ‘personal best’ rather than competing against their classmates. Year 10 leaders once again rose to the challenge and delivered the activities superbly making sure that everyone who attended had a fun filled morning.

School Sports Partnership programme finding stars of the future
The Cambridge and South Cambs School Sports Partnerships are looking for young people aged 9-16 years who are showing potential in Physical Education and sport, and on their schools Special Educational Needs register to take part in a national initiative called Playground to Podium (P2P)

Pupils get into Olympics Spirit
1,400 children from 44 schools took part in the annual Mini-Olympics event on Tuesday 22nd June 2010 at the Wilberforce Road athletics track, Cambridge.
